The Reason

As we look at the gospel of John, he records for us 8 signs that Jesus performed. At first, we might have the tendency to just focus on the miracles themselves

And not on the sign for which it was meant to show. Water to wine, healing the nobleman’s son, healing the lame man, healing the man at the pool of Bethesda,

Feeding the 5,000, walking on the water and calming the sea, healing the blind man, raising Lazarus from the dead and causing an abundant number of fish to be caught.

All these signs are recorded for us so that we too like so many others would believe in Jesus.

John 20:31 … but these things are written that you (and I) may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God and that believing we may have life in His name.
