Security In Knowing God

True security is knowing God never changes. Humility also shows security for the Lord.
Reading in Obadiah 1:4 “Though you ascend as high as the eagle, and though you set your nest among the stars, from there I will bring you down.” says the Lord.
Pride is a surefire road to destruction, a humble man is more secure than a proud man because humility gives a clearer and more accurate reference for us and this humanly world in which we live temporarily.

One of the most significant struggles for me in reaching full security is explained perfectly in Luke 18:22, “So when Jesus heard these things, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” It is very clear really.

Exodus 3:14 “And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM” and He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.” God’s wisdom spans throughout all ages and His promises give complete meaning and direction for our lives. This truly is complete security.
