1 Corinthians 15:42-44
Corinthian believers, like people today, wondered “How will the dead be raised? With what kind of body do they come back? Paul chastised them and in 1 Corinthians Chapter 15 explained some of the nuances: in verses 42 – 44, he explains that the human body was “sown in a perishable body, but raised in an imperishable body; sown in dishonor, but raised in honor; sown in weakness, but raised in power; sown in a natural body, but raised in a supernatural body.”
He continues to explain, and in verse 54 and 55, it is written “But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying which is written “DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY. O, DEATH WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O, DEATH WHERE IS YOUR STING?”
Verse 57 -58 say but, thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.
My desire for myself and all believers is that we be found always in the very center of God’s Will for us, reflecting the very love of Jesus to all that we meet.
