Anxiety

A real and present danger to many, if not all of us at some point in our lives. It strips us of our strength, blinds us from the truth, activates our fears, relinquishes us even to the state of being frozen in the moment unable to escape the grip it takes on our emotions. Proverbs 12:25 says” Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression. But a good word makes it glad” These feelings are real and can bring us into a state of depression, even as proverbs tells us. It is a weapon of spiritual warfare of our enemy of old, that old roaring lion who seeks whom he may devour. Desiring to rob us of the very joy we have found in the LORD our GOD and savior, hoping to take us out of commission in our service unto HIM, that he would keep us in the state of fear and worry and cripples us from be available to minister for HIS kingdom. But proverbs gives us hope as well, “But a good word makes it glad”. When anxiety comes in let us run to the good word of our GOD who cares for us, let us call upon the very word of truth JESUS the living word of our hope and foundation of all truth. Taking every thought into captivity and rendering them at HIS feet that we may find victory and hope in our moment of need. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD for he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river. And will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green and will not be anxious in the year of drought nor will cease from yielding fruit”
