BENEFITS

We all like benefits in the workplace, the more the Better Right! Well in Psalm103 David describes for us some of the benefits we as God‘s children have already received as a result of this wonderful relationship we have with the Lord, so it is good for us to be reminded of them to help us have the right perspective on all that is going on in the world around us. David said in1-5 bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! bless the Lord, O my soul; And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle‘s. Then in(8)The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. And finally(11-12) For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
