Ready or not here it comes!

 Oh, you thought I meant Christmas? Well, yes, that is part of it, but mostly what I was thinking about were all the events that lead up to Christmas - like all the hustle, all the bustle, all the lines, and all the things that always seem to distract us from the “REASON FOR THE SEASON” … (The  birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ). It is so easy to get caught up in all the tinsel, the lights, snowmen, reindeer and such that we miss the opportunity to share the Hope, the Joy and the Peace that we enjoy because of Emmanuel (God with us). Take time this year and read the Gospel accounts of the birth of Jesus in that little manger with your family, and you will be f illed with the true joy that the world is longing for.   Matthew, Chapters 1 and 2; Luke, Chapters 1 and 2.
