Our struggle with our sinful nature

As Paul struggled with his sinful nature he wrote “Who will deliver me from body of death?”.

Do you ever find yourself in this conundrum, as Paul? Many of believers do, but let us take refuge in the promise of our Lord.

Scripture say that He, Jesus, was manifested to take away our sin, for in Him Is no sin, 1 JN 3:5.  Matt 1:21 the angel says of the LORD “thou shalt call His name JESUS for He shall save his people from their sin “Jesus came to destroy the works of Satan within us.

Here is a biblical promise to hold to, Ezekiel 36:26 “ a new heart also will I give you, and a new spirt will I put within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh , and I wil give an heart of flesh” you see this is God promising to give you a new heart and a new spirit, He say I will, I will give, I will take away, these are the words of the king of kings , Lord of Lords , who is able to accomplish His will in your life. Our Lord knows we can’t change our own heart or change our nature, HE also knows HE can change these things in us.

When the grace of God reaches into the heart of a person, it trains that one to deny ungodliness and worldly lust, to live soberly, righteously and godly in this present evil world. Titus 2:12. Dear brethren let us surrender to Him our struggles and allow His grace to do His will in us.
