Deuteronomy 14:2

Deuteronomy 14:2: For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. The church has been set apart to be holy as God is holy and to tell the world that God through Jesus Christ called them out of darkness into His marvelous light. As a Christian I am set apart to show the great and marvelous love God has for us and to live a life that is holy before God. This means living a life that is not conformed to the ways of this world.
God chose you specifically for a purpose- to bring light and love into this world. As a Christian, you are chosen to live a life that glorifies God in all that you do and speak. This means living in a way that reflects our faith in God and his abounding love and kindness for each and every person. It means that we are marked for a purpose – to share his goodness with those around us, and to join with the Holy Spirit in what God is doing to build his kingdom on earth.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new
Therefore, as God‘s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kind- ness, humility, gentleness, and patience. You have been hand chosen by the living God; it doesn’t get any better than that.
