Trust God

Trusting God is something I think a lot of us struggle with at some time in our walk with Him. I know in my own walk with GOD, I’ve prayed for myself and others, and no sooner than when I finished, I wrestled in my mind with doubt, as to whether God was going to answer. I struggled with thoughts like, are my prayers aligned with God’s will or when I previously prayed, the outcome of my prayers was not what I specifically prayed for. God’s word has a lot to say about trusting God. Don’t let doubt settle into your heart and mind. If you struggle with trusting God, here are a few verses of assurance from His Word.

 Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

James 1:6-8

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

 Matthew 13:58

And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.

James 5:15 
And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
