Six important facts in Romans 1:1-17

In Romans, Chapter 1 verses 1 through 17; Paul tells us about the “Gospel”….which comes from the Greek word Euangelion - - meaning “Good news” or “Good tidings”.   . . . . Those facts are:

**   Its source is God - - verse 1

**   It was promised by O. T. prophecies - - verse 2

**   It is the good news concerning God’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ - - verse 3

**   It is God’s power to salvation - - verse 16

**   It is for all people, Gentiles as well as Jews - - verse 16

**   It is the righteousness of God, revealed from faith to faith (it is by faith alone) - - verse 17

The letter to the Romans is, like all of the rest of God’s Word, very powerful . . . . God inspired Paul in a way that continues to inspire His followers . . . .my prayer is that you would be blessed as you meditate on all of God’s Word - - that is my goal daily . . . . God bless you and your family.
