God Is With YOU!

Joshua 1:9 

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go ”

God encourages Joshua with a promise and that promise is to be Strong and Courageous but He doesn’t stop there. There is continued encouragement. At a first glance reading be strong and courageous and stopping there seems to imply that it‘s something that we need to do. But the truth is we don’t get the strength or the courage from anything we can do but from the fact that God is with us wherever we go. 

Knowing that whatever we do or whatever situation we come across that God is with us, is so powerful. We can face any situation with the knowledge that God is for us and with us in the midst of that situation. Now, here comes the hard part. We have to remember that He is with us. We so easily forget that God is always with us in our struggle, hardships and trials. In those moments He’s right with us speaking in His still small voice that He is there. He will give us the ability to be strong and courageous. REMEMBER GOD IS WITH YOU ALWAYS.
